Consultations can be requested online via their website or phone calls, and there is no option of a free initial assessment. They also take urgent cases which include federal court appeals, immigration appeal division, immigration division, refugee protection division, refugee appeal division, and IRCC/CBSA interviews.

A big drawback of BLGPC is that there is no mention of pricing, even for consultation and initial assessment. This review indicates that their pricing is higher when compared to other law firms. They have a Consultation and Legal Fees section on their website which is quite misleading as it doesn’t mention the price at all.

Customer Service

Based on reviews, it can be said that even the satisfied clients weren’t happy with the processing time and communication. The company doesn’t seem to have good customer care support. They do have a sizable team but there is no live chat option. There are many ways to contact them but with this kind of review, we wonder whether they care about customer satisfaction.

Other Perks

It is very distressing to have your application rejected or to be misrepresented. For these special cases, BLGPC is like a knight in shining armor – and that’s where the company shines. They offer expert services with urgent cases of inadmissibility and citizenship.

However, there’s no mention of help with visa applications such as document uploads/ language tests or post-landing services. This seems odd to us because the purpose of a lawyer or an immigration consultant is always for his client to have the highest CRS score possible, so we wonder whether they act in the best interest of their clients.

The lawyers working for BLGPC are mentioned by name and area of expertise/experience on the company’s website, but their registration numbers are not mentioned. Information of this kind is highly important as it indicates the integrity of the lawyer and will help a new client determine if he is willing to commit to that firm.

The website of BLGPC is well-made and quite informative, but the layout isn’t as impressive or contemporary as one would like for easy browsing. The homepage can get overwhelming with a lot of information stuffed in a single page, but the categories and subcategories make it easy to find what you are looking for.

They have a comprehensive news section with blogs, TV/Radio Media, Print Media, Speaking Engagements, newsletters, and Important Immigration Court Decisions. This section is regularly updated and is an excellent source of information for potential immigrants. They also have a FAQs section but there is no live chat option. The website has a disclaimer and privacy policy.

Their Facebook page has over 13k followers and is regularly updated. There is no interaction and very few like under the posts. They have 12 reviews on their Facebook, all of which are 5 stars with praises about their services.

Their Twitter following is much less with over 3k followers, and it is also regularly updated. Their YouTube channel only has 209 subscribers and is updated at least once every month with informative videos.

Editor’s Conclusion

There’s no doubt that BLGPC is an authentic practice, but the bottom line is that they are working with lawyers and only a few immigration consultants. This means that their pricing is most likely quite high when compared to RCIC agents.

Therefore, we recommend their services only for special cases as they are experts in inadmissibility cases. They have a decent-sized team with well-experienced lawyers and we are rather impressed with their professional recognition by notable organizations.
