All of this is great for those who want to gather every piece of information before making an informed decision.

  • A variety of Work Permits including LMIA-based work permits, LMIA exemptions, work permit exemptions, open work permits, Global Skills Stream, International Mobility Program, International Experience Canada Program, Working in Quebec, and Live-in Caregivers

Detailed information about all these services is provided on the website. There is no mention of post-landing services besides help with job search for immigrants, We found this to be a downside given the importance of such services for new immigrants. They also provide Free online IELTS courses.

Prices

Free evaluations are provided for skilled workers, temporary PR pathways, business candidates, family sponsorship, Canada study, and visitor visa. There is no mention of price packages for any of their services. We found it as a downside since a new immigration candidate needs to ensure he has adequate funds in order to begin the immigration process.

Customer Service

The website doesn’t have a live chat option and there isn’t much interaction under their social media handles to determine the quality of customer service through observation alone. We found a number of reviews on Quora that state that their processing time is slow, their customer support is not up to the mark, and they don’t reply to queries once the payment is processed.

Immigration.ca Review

According to this review, their application process was delayed without reason and the representative took a long time to submit their case in the express entry pool. Their negligent behavior and the slow processing time are further confirmed with this review. Immigration.ca Review

Another review claims that they don’t help the clients step by step or guide them with additional services.

Other Perks

Immigration.ca helps with IELTS courses and job searches for immigrants. They have a recruitment team and help with a wide variety of work permits. They also have a step-by-step guide for study permits with a lot of additional services for international students. There is no mention of any other services related to immigration visas such as helping with document upload or resettlement services. A program like that can provide much assistance for people who are moving to Canada for the first time.

RCICs

On the company’s website, it is stated that they work with over 25 licensed lawyers, immigration consultants, and technical staff. Only one lawyer is mentioned by name – Colin R. Singer, who is also their managing partner, and that can indicate the processing time of the firm.

Website

We are not a fan of Immigration.ca’s website. It is too detailed for their own good. Too much is happening at once and the layout and format give the vibe of an old-fashioned newsletter that everyone finds too boring to read. Not to take away from their meticulous attention to detail when it comes to explaining their services and all the procedures.

They mention everything in thorough detail which can help a potential immigrant make informed decisions. There are quick links at the bottom of the website which break down the information into categories and there’s also a sitemap for those who wish to browse through the wealth of information provided by them. There’s a discussion forum, FAQ section, fraud alert, privacy statement, disclaimer, and links to their eBook series, publications, videos, podcasts, various forms, and immigration news.

Social Media

The Facebook page of Immigration.ca has over 622,063 followers. They update the page regularly and there’s a handful of likes and comments under the posts, but no interaction with their clients. Their Instagram has 76.9 followers and it is regularly updated too, with some interaction under the posts. The YouTube channel was last updated over a year ago and has 29.5k subscribers. Their attorney Colin Singer is on Twitter with 31.6 followers.

Edito’s Conclusion

Immigration.ca is a solid immigration consultancy firm and from all the information provided on their website, they seem authentic. However, they need to work in the customer service department and improve their processing time as client satisfaction is seemingly not their first priority.

Also, as they work with lawyers, one can expect the services to be costlier than the immigration services offered by RCIC Agents. Therefore, it is wise to go with their services only for complicated cases where additional legal support is required.

I have used their service for a complicated case and fortunately they replied back quickly and efficiently. They are very helpful and can be trusted as they don’t guarantee success.
